Covid-19 Memo

Dear Clients of S. Matthew Hamby, CPA, PLLC  

   

We would like to take this opportunity to reach out to you and provide an update on several important issues as we navigate through the Coronavirus crisis.  First, let me assure you that we take this crisis very seriously and want to do everything in our power to make sure to keep you informed on any procedural changes for our office as well as any regulations passed by the federal and state government that might impact you.  Our office supports the health and well-being of our clients as well as our staff and the public, so we are implementing the following procedures for tax information drop off and pick up effective immediately.  If you still need to drop off tax information and do not have electronic capabilities to do so, we encourage you to utilize the mail slots we have to the right and left of our office door.  The mail slot to the right has the capacity to hold larger packages.  If you have a scheduled meeting with Matt or Joey and have experienced symptoms such as fever, cough, etc. or have traveled outside the valley in the last 2 weeks, we would ask that a phone meeting be set up instead of a face to face meeting.  This is a precaution that will benefit all of us and still allow for any questions you have to be answered.  If you need to pick up a tax return or other related documents in the next few weeks, we would ask again if you have experienced any of the above mentioned factors, that you give us a call so we can arrange pick up by alternate means such as mailing or electronic distribution of your tax return.  Again, this is out of caution and safety for all our clients and staff.  In addition, attached is some information regarding Stimulus payments provided by the government for Covid relief. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this issue, please feel free to contact our office.
